Finally, a working version! (Mostly) Only running the main components (Models and the C2C/CanaDream Compat) and upon going back to the profile selection screen, the game crashes. My game never did this before this mod was installed.

    • Sanguinem Luna says:

PS: Thank you for adding a load order picture! It helps so much when you have about a billion different components to the one mod, rather than one big SCS file…..

Some feedback too: Please, just combine some components together instead having so many SCS files for one mod. Like, the 2 models files and the main map file. That can’t just be made into one whole file? Maybe along with the Federal Police file too? Just merge that into the main map file? Because as the mod stands in its current form, it’s cluttering my load order and making some mods stop working due to those mods being pushed further down in priority.

And some constructive criticism: After crossing onto the American side of the border at Tijuana/San Diego, the 20 MPH border crossing speed extends waaaay too far out onto the freeway heading north from there. It’s ridiculous. Also, the mountain pass between I believe Tijuana and Mexicali(?) just below the border, the speed needs to be dropped. 55 MPH through extreme switchbacks is way too fast 30 MPH would be reasonable. Difficult to drive through there with traffic zipping past you while you’re trying to navigate the pass. Come to think of it, there are just several speed zones that need to be readjusted. Oh, and if it’s possible, since there’s now random Police checkpoints, might be neat to try and drop a weigh station marker there to act as an “inspection” point. Traffic already does a stop and go at them, makes a lot of sense to have a weigh station marker as an “inspection” point just for realism sake. Oh and also for the Federal Police checkpoints, be nice to have a little speed zone decrease and warnings to reduce speed. Nearly rear ended a semi when they suddenly slammed their brakes….

Very happy to have a working Viva Mexico again! Still needs a lot of work, but I’m just happy to be back south of the border again. 🙂

for some reason, any maps I add make my game crash. Mexico, coast to coast and Alaska…. I don’t get why.

  3. Sanguinem Luna says:

Found an invisible wall in Caborca. Facing the large Walbert warehouse on the south eastern side of Caborca, the invisible wall is on the right side of the entrance on the road, preventing you from getting to the next intersection (intersection at far southeast corner of Caborca).

    • Sanguinem Luna says:

And I found another invisible wall in Moctezuma in the southeast corner. When facing the Sunshine Crops yard (facing north), just to the right side of the SSCrops entrance, on the road heading east (curves up to an intersection), you hit an invisible wall.

Sorry, tried to load game with Viva Mexico in it 4 times, even with C 2 C and Canadreams turned off. Crashed the game every time.

  5. TheGreatSword says:

The roads are cut when VivaMexico is on with c2c! The roads end when trying to travel out of CA, NV, and AZ, please fix!

  6. Pablo says:

Ok guys, after months trying to make this work, I finally made today (sort of) I followed the order posted by the modder and didn’t work for me, it always ended on a crash.
The order that worked for me, is as follows:

    1.- CanadaDream
    2.- Model 02 Viva Mexico V2.2
3.- Moodels Viva Mexico V2.2 (models 1 on some versions)
    4.- Coast to coast.

Both cost to coast, updated to the latest version.

Now I can’t make project west work, I can run canadadream, C2C and Project west, but if I try Viva Mexico, my game crashes.

i hope this woks for you guys.

  7. Pablo says:

guys a little update. I made it to work with Project west. The load order that worked for me, is as follows:

    1.- Project West 1.3.2 + Viva Mexico 2.2 Conenection
2.- Addon L. Vegas For Project West
    3.- CanadaDream V2.2.1
    4.- Model 02 Viva Mexico V2.2
5.- Models Viva Mexico V2.3 (models 1 on some versions I think)
    6.- Coast to coast V2.1
    7.- Project West (v1.3)

This worked on my main profile, with many other mods, so it should work for people having issues with Viva Mexico, I hope this helps you out guys.

What does the bus icon mean at terminals? Is that just the terminal company logo?

  9. El rallado says:
