Mirror Camera Mod: MirrorCam, Rear and Front Cameras
Replace your side mirrors with large camera displays and add an overhead monitor bar to see both sides of your truck, behind your trailer, and directly in front of your bumper. Larger screens make hitching, reversing, and parking easier.
Supports all 19 factory trucks and all 61 cabs, including base-game trucks and truck DLCs. Each component automatically fits your selected cab.
What’s Included
- Mirror Camera Big Screen: Exterior MirrorCam-style camera arms with large vertical displays on both interior A-pillars. Each display shows the main view above a wide-angle view, with larger screens than typical camera-mirror mods.
- Hanging Monitor: Side, Front & Rear Cameras: A four-screen bar above the windshield, arranged left, rear, front, right.
- Curved Hanging Monitor: Side, Front & Rear Cameras: Six screens curved towards the driver, arranged left, left wide, rear, front, right, right wide.
- Curved Hanging Monitor + Look-Down Camera: The six-screen curved bar with a seventh display for the passenger-side look-down camera.
- Rear Camera: Cab (Hitching): Mounted behind the cab and aimed down at the fifth wheel. Useful for coupling trailers and driving without a trailer.
- Rear Camera: Trailer (Reversing): Provides a view from behind your trailer to help with reversing into docks.
- Front Camera (Parking): Mounted at the tip of the hood and angled down to help you judge clearance in front of the truck.
- Look-Down Camera: Replaces the passenger-side window mirror with a camera covering your right-side blind spot.
Every screen features touch-style MODE buttons (V1 to V8) and soft ambient lighting underneath that activates with your truck’s lights. Displays switch off when you shut the truck down and return when you turn on the ignition.
Where to Find the Parts
Visit a truck service or tuning shop and select:
- Accessories > Main Mirrors: Mirror Camera Big Screen.
- Accessories > Hanging Items: One of the three monitor bars.
- Accessories > Left Nose Mirror: Rear Camera, either the Cab or Trailer version.
- Accessories > Right Nose Mirror: Front Camera (Parking).
- Accessories > Side Mirror: Look-Down Camera.
The monitors display feeds from the cameras you install. Screens without a corresponding rear, front, or look-down camera show the game’s placeholder text.
You can mix and match the parts to suit your setup. The monitor bars also work with factory mirrors.
Good to Know
- Rear and front cameras occupy the nose-mirror slots because the game only provides camera views through mirror slots. You cannot fit conventional nose mirrors in those slots at the same time.
- The rear camera does not switch automatically when you attach or detach a trailer. Choose the Cab or Trailer version in the shop.
- The trailer camera is configured for a single standard trailer up to 53 ft long. It is not well suited to doubles, triples, or very long combinations.
- The mod does not replace any game files and works alongside other mods.
- Removing the mod will not break your truck. The installed mod parts simply disappear.
- Supports factory trucks only. Mod trucks are not supported.
- Designed for ATS 1.61.
