Hänsch TFA 624 Dutch Sirens

Adds the Hänsch TFA 624 Dutch two-tone siren, used by RAVU/Visser Mercedes E-Class ambulances, to all three Road Trip Ford vehicles. This mod adds siren sounds only, with no vehicle lights.

No additional parts or vehicle modifications are needed. Make sure your Horn and Air Horn controls are bound before using the siren.

Controls

• H: Standard Dutch Hänsch TFA 624 two-tone siren.
• N: Intersection speeder tone.

Requirements and Compatibility

• Requires the Road Trip DLC.
• Tested with ATS 1.61.
• Use only one of my siren mods at a time. Do not enable this alongside my other siren mods.

Recommended Optional Mod

I recommend the Crown Victoria Paintjobs mod for its police livery and lightbar. It is optional, but if you use it, place this siren mod above it in the Mod Manager.

Siren Toggle Fix

If you experience issues with the siren toggle, apply the following fix:

1. Close ATS.
2. Open Documents\American Truck Simulator and locate your profile folder.
3. Make a backup of controls.sii, then open the original file in a text editor.
4. Find the line containing mix horn. Keep its existing config_lines number and replace everything after the colon with: "mix horn `abs(long_press(keyboard.h?0) - memory(short_press(keyboard.h?0), !horn)) | semantical.horn?0`"
5. Find the line containing mix airhorn. Keep its existing config_lines number and replace everything after the colon with: "mix airhorn `abs(long_press(keyboard.n?0) - memory(short_press(keyboard.n?0), !airhorn)) | semantical.airhorn?0`"
6. Save the file and start ATS.

Keep the original config_lines numbers. They can differ between profiles, so replace only the text after the colon.

Changing the Horn or Air Horn key bindings in-game will overwrite this fix. If you change them later, you will need to apply it again.
