Dash GPS Displays for the 2024 Ford Bronco
The Bronco version of Dash GPS Displays uses the vehicle’s factory centre screen, so there is no separate GPS unit to buy or install. The display changes as soon as the mod is active.
Five display pages
- Navigation: A live map with the speed limit, remaining driving time (ETA), gear, fuel level, fuel range, clock, heading, and outside temperature. A LOW FUEL indicator appears when the game’s low-fuel warning activates.
- Map Only: A full-screen map with the speed limit.
- Home: A vehicle information card showing coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and engine speed. The trip meter displays distance, driving time, average speed, average fuel economy, and fuel used, alongside decorative app icons.
- Standby: A day or night road image with the clock, heading, fuel range, and temperature.
- Screen Off: A black screen.
Switch pages using the game’s Infotainment Display Mode control. You can find the key binding under Options > Keys & Buttons.
Day and night modes
- Headlights off: Day mode, with a light map and a daytime standby image.
- Headlights on: Night mode, with a dark map, a moon-and-stars standby image, and a small moon indicator.
Screen brightness follows the game’s dashboard backlight setting.
Speed limit on the centre screen
The game allows each readout to appear only three times per vehicle, and the Bronco’s gauge cluster already uses all three instances for the speed limit. This mod moves the speed limit sign from the cluster to the centre screen.
Your speed and cruise control remain on the gauge cluster. All other cluster readouts stay unchanged.
The factory reverse camera still appears when you select reverse. After reversing, the display returns to your selected page at approximately 5 mph (8 km/h), instead of the game’s 12 mph (20 km/h).
Requirements
- Road Trip: Ford DLC with the 2024 Bronco.
- Created and tested on game version 1.61.
Good to know
- Speed, distance, fuel, and temperature follow your game’s selected units, including mph or km/h, gallons or litres, and °F or °C.
- ETA shows the driving time remaining to your final destination in hours and minutes.
- Remaining distance to your destination cannot be displayed. The game provides in-dash screens with remaining travel time, but not distance.
- The app icons on the Home page are decorative only.
- This mod works alongside the Mustang, Crown Victoria, and F-150 versions, as they share no files.
- The mod replaces one small Bronco interior definition file and uses its own copy of the Bronco’s cluster script to relocate the speed limit display.
- Other mods that restyle the Bronco’s gauge cluster or centre screen will not take effect while this mod is active.
