Can someone Please tell me how to install this mod and get it working right????
@Cade If putting the .SCS file into the mod folder doesn’t work then try unpacking the .SCS file into a folder then copy and paste that folder into the mod folder. Also make sure that you don’t have any other Volvo VNL trucks as active mods or it will crash the game when trying to buy in dealership or trying to enter the dealership.
Ok so I tried that. Still crashes the game. Any ideas?
I’m not sure because mine stopped crashing after I sold my Volvo vnl 880 and disabled the 880 model. You could try archiving all of the files in the vnl 760 model into 1 .scs file.
What led me to believe that the Volvo vnl 880 was the culprit in my case was the fact that when I looked at the crash logs for the game i noticed a lot of failures regarding some of the parameters for the 880 model after I had installed the 760 model. Hence that’s the reason I sold my 880 then disabled it in mod manager and all of a sudden I can purchase and drive the 760 with no problems. Look at your crash logs after trying to use the 760 and see where the errors start occurring. You should notice the errors in the logs when the game is trying to load all of the vehicles and different parameters.
I don’t know at which point your game is crashing but mine was crashing when I tried to scroll through the trucks in the Volvo dealership. A clue to the issue for mine was that I could scroll through every Volvo VNR model with no problems but as soon as I tried to scroll to the Volvo VNL 880 or any of my other VNL mods the game would crash. That falls in line with my crash log because I noticed errors when the game tried to load any VNL model while I was in the dealership. So try to notice any small details or clues that appear right before or at the moment the game crashes. Those crash logs pointed me to and verified the culprit in my case which was any Volvo VNL model I had installed and activated.
Did they fix the KM to MPH on this?
When I use it(this mod), left signal lamp is not work
mod doesn’t work for me. when i install it, and i go to a dealer i can see the truck and move the camera and around and stuff. then when i hit “leave” the game crashes. It is the only mod i have running in the game so i don’t know why it crashed.
I bought the truck but not possivble to drive , the game crash… not possible to take another truck or change my character for another garage anytime the game crash…
Where did you buy the truck? It doesn’t appear on any truck dealers?
I can’t see the truck at the dealership. Can someone help me?
