Because for some reason he made it for 1.5 after the game updated to 1.6, so now to use this you must opt into the temporary 1.5 beta.

Lance, Make sure you use the Model file plus only one of the other two depending on whether you have CanaDreams and C2C Maps or not.
When i tried it i was in 1.6. its workin for 1.5 but thanks though bro
I’m pretty sure the new game update is causing a conflict with this mod, therefore the crashing. Sad day.

This link only download the 1.5 compatible version of the map.
It doesn’t have the 1.6 version.
The way you worded the description, looks like it was made for both 1.5 and 1.6 but it crashes on 1.6?

I’ve tried every single possible combination of load order for the 1.6 version and the models to go with it, crashed each time. Tried it without the models file as well and crashed each time. Even disabled any other mods that alter the map in any way and crashed. Disabled graphics and weather mods too just in case and crashed every time.
If anyone has this working on 1.6, how did you do it?
And to anyone who will comment that I’m probably using the wrong file, look closely at the very top of the description. It’s worded as if it’s saying both 1.5 AND 1.6 are supported. The download even includes a 1.5 only version that can be used with CanaDream and C2C optionally.
Canada Dream hasn’t been updated to 1.6, so if you try and run it with the coast to coast part in 1.6 it’ll crash. As for the VIVA MEXICO Map, on it’s own, works fine in 1.6. Personally I hate those speed bumps…Makes going through towns like your on a motocross track, in a truck…Yuck !

Working fine but i started everything from beginning means no other mods before maybe that’s why you’re facing some problems. I’d like to add some C2C or canada dream but looks like canada dream is only for 1.5v, right?
yo tengo la version del juego 1.5.1 y he probado este mod y si carga y todo ,pero cuando llego al limite de entrar a sonora ,,se sale el juego ,,no se a que se deba!!
