Kenworth W900L ATS

This is an update for the Kenworth W900L which will make the truck compatible with ATS version 1.31. This mod includes a fixed rear camera which can be accessed by first pressing F2 then hitting the ‘f’ key on you keyboard. This mod also packs in the accessories for the truck and the truck itself. Hopefully you like the mod and can give me some other mods to fix in the future.

How To Install:

Tried it in 1.31 with a new profile. The Second I click on Kenworth dealer it Crashes tried it more than once. One of the last error messages in the game log says
00:00:53.415 : [model] Unknown variant named ‘chs_day_long’ in model ‘/vehicle/truck/kenworth_w900/truck.pmc’.
What parts did you work on to get it to run? I have a working version in 1.31 I fixed myself but has quite a few errors in it. In the form of pointing to the wrong directories for some of the TOBJ files within the mat. I used SCS workshop Uploader to find the errors. I love this truck I have made some 30 skins for it posted on Steam Workshop. Want to see it completely error-free one day

Using your new version of the “Right Mirror” set up screws with the 4-way hazard lights. I even tried switching keys in key bindings … same effect.

I really wish someone could just totally get rid of the screwed up “Right Mirror” funky setup of this “Beautiful Truck” and just have it as the “Normal” “Right Mirror” set up as in all the other in-game & mod trucks are setup.

The “Kenworth_W900RemixAltered” version is still the best version, if only for the “Right Mirror” is a normal setup … 🙂

It would be nice if we could have the F2 right mirror back. Also a lot of the cab accessories were not showing up. But that could also be a mod conflict on my end.

    Will update later.

Yes, I agree with the mirror bit. When I fixed it to work in 1.31. I have spent a lot of time trying to fix the mirrors. Still, the only way around it is not to use the small mirrors that are on the bottom. Beleive it or not there are at least 28 errors in Altered Remix but for the main part, it works in 1.31.
If you have a look on steam for user richt05tv you will see the Skins I have created for this truck. One day I hope to get rid of all the errors. I want to get the big Bull Bars and other Accessories that are missing Since the 2016 version. I am learning but its ever so slow with no manuals that I know of explaining things, that I know off. Yes, you probably see me refer to it as my truck, I know I never created it, and give credit those that did. Somebody said it was ported from ETS2 hard to believe they had a vehicle that large for roads so narrow. ONE DAY. I am retired Trucky and I was lucky to actually drove one of these ONCE.

Yes, this is a beautiful truck. The biggest I ever drove was a W900L 11 out of 28 years OTR … Retired & Disabled now .
