This mod has some really weird physics that make it impossible to drive. Like, turning the wheel just ever so much too far and suddenly, you’re sliding all over the place like you’re on an ice road. Or, on the Triples, despite having an 840 HP engine @ 4,079 ft-lb of Torque, THREE drive axles AND the Differential locked, it refuses to go up hills.

And no, the weight of the Triple trailers is not the cause of not going up hills. I’ve had loads that are 200k lbs that had zero problems with my rig. The triples are at least 130k lbs. 70k less than some of the loads I’ve taken. The physics on this trailer need to be tweaked or it’s unusable. Was really looking forward to hauling triples, but this is disappointing.

It’s like I’m operating a tugboat. I literally must start my turn at least 100ft from where I need to turn in order for my nose to be facing in the direction I need to go. Its a challenge but I manage. This needs a serious physics tweak.

These trailers are rubbish… no physics, just cut and paste pivot points ….

A Good Job, I have a same issue about steering, I thought that there was something wrong with my Track ball Steering, which I retested with other doubles and triples. It only affects mine when trailer weight is above 50 ton. I found a fix by using a 3 axle prime mover to distribute Weight. It’s as if the above 50 ton when you accelerate it lifts the front of the truck, loosing steering (That’s my Best Explanation). But if you use a long wheelbase truck with 3 axles, works fine. Above 50MPH going downhill with that weight in real life you will have issue with stability as well. Apart from that, have used 2 Axle to 64 ton gets a bit hairy. I like it.
    Yours Steve

these trailers are b triples. their the American system (trailer and dolly). u cant steer because your front wheels are being lifted off the ground do to all the weight pushing on the back. this happens in real life even thou it mostly does this going up hills.
